Résumé :
It was in 2005 that for the first time, the book The Innovated Prayer was published in French. After three years of research, it was, in 2008, republished, expanded and translated into English and Arabic. After twelve years of additional investigations, we are republishing the book The Innovated Prayer in several languages: Arabic, English, Turkish and Indonesian. In addition, the website: www.tarawih.eu is dedicated to Tarawih. This "adventure" began one day in the year 2005, when during my readings, I became aware of this hadith: "From now on, O faithful, pray in your homes, because the best prayer for a man is that he does at home, unless it is a question of the canonical prayer [1]». Because of its peremptory nature, it called out to me strongly. I wondered deeply then. What theological theory, what scholarly reflection, could justify that we do the exact opposite? Is this hadith false? Badly translated? Repealed? From that day in 2005 until today and probably until the end of my days, I will not stop pulling the string, so that, if Allah allows me, I can finally know the truth. This truth which has been, and I am absolutely convinced, incredibly well hidden by most of the time, those who believe that Omar ibn Khattab رضي الله عنه is part of the belief and sometimes much more than the prophet himself! I know I'll never know the whole truth, but right now I know enough to say we were lied to. [1] Sahih of Imam Bukhari and Muslim.
